RMC Wizard Window (Basic LTE-A FDD Uplink)

To set up a UL reference measured channel (RMC), for an Basic LTE-A FDD Uplink carrier, click the Wizard button in the Uplink node to open the UL RMC Wizard.

System Bandwidth 

Choice: 1.4MHz(6RB) | 3MHz(15RB) | 5MHz(25RB) | 10MHz(50RB) | 15MHz(75RB) | 20MHz(100RB)

Default: 5MHz(25RB)

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to set the system bandwidth (= Channel Bandwidth) and number of resource blocks for the reference measurement channel.

Modulation 

Choice: QPSK | 16QAM

Default: QPSK

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to set the modulation for the reference measurement channel.

Allocated resource blocks

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to set the allocated resource blocks for the reference measurement channel.

Couplings: Choice parameters coupled to the System Bandwidth and Modulation parameters.

RB Position

Choice: Lower End | Upper End

Default: Lower End

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to set the resource block (RB) position for the reference measurement channel.

Lower End: PUSCH RBs are inserted into the lower frequency end of the system bandwidth.

Upper End: PUSCH RBs are inserted into the upper frequency end of the system bandwidth.

Displays the channel bandwidth of UL reference measurement channel based on the RMC configurations. This is a read only parameter.

Allocated resource blocks

Display the allocated resource blocks of UL reference measurement channel based on above RMC configurations. This is a read only parameter.

DFT-OFDM Symbols per subframe

Displays the DFT-OFDM symbols per sub-frame of UL reference measurement channel based on above RMC configurations. This is a read only parameter.

Modulation

Displays the modulation of UL reference measurement channel based on above RMC configurations. This is a read only parameter.

Target Code rate

This parameter is not applicable for the Basic carrier. Basic carrier does not support transport channel coding.

If you want to set exact same setting according with 3GPP standard, use the Advanced carrier.

This parameter is not applicable for the Basic carrier. Basic carrier does not support transport channel coding.
